About Otsoko

Otsoko is a recreation of the fairytale “Little Red Riding-hood.” The myth developed through the lens of oral tradition, which drawing upon a variety of topics provides a simple explanation for the unknown, the hidden or the incomprehensible.

Otsoko brings together the fable and the different takes the company has on it; the reinterpretation of the original characters; a visual and sound staging that seeks the plasticity of form in each dramatic atmosphere; a narrative that uses the legend to deal with innocence, facing the unknown, deception, affection..., in short, the different dichotomies we are challenged with in the original story, yet always through transgression in its staging. All
with the support of an offstage narration that introduces each scene.
